Abstract

NOZAWA, Shingo; GRANDE, José; AVENDANO, Neida  and  UBIERGO, Paola. Preliminary checklist of ruderal herbaceous species growing in San Antonio del Táchira, Venezuela. New reports to the state and bioregion. Acta Bot. Venez. [online]. 2008, vol.31, n.1, pp.307-314. ISSN 0084-5906.

A preliminary checklist of 90 ruderal herbaceous species of San Antonio del Táchira is presented. The taxa was classified in 22 dicots families (54 species) and 2 monocots  families (36 species); the legumes was considered as three different families. The families with highest number of species are Poaceae (34), Euphorbiaceae (8), Convolvulaceae (7) and Asteraceae (6). Twenty one species are reported for the first time to the Táchira State, including Ipomoea piurensis and Dichanthium aristatum as novelties for the andean bioregion.
