A phycological study was conducted at a rocky shore of Isla Larga, Parque Nacional San Esteban, Carabobo State, Venezuela. Bimonthly collections were carried out for a period 10 months. 31 algal species were reported, nine Chlorophyta, five Ochrophyta and 16 Rhodophyta; additionally, one cyanobacteria was reported. There was a total of 11 new reports for Carabobo State. A taxonomic list is presented and only new reports for the state are described.
