The preliminary results of an ethnobotanic inventory carried out in the basin of the Moron River, Carabobo state, are presented here. An ambitious program of recuperation of that practically devastated area had been done, obtaining tangible results. Of 455 species, 46 were reported to have different uses for the people of that region, and of those the majority is used in traditional medicine. Also, included in this work a list of all the species collected there.
