The species of the Leguminosae of a seasonal forest of the National Park «Henri Pittier» were inventoried. The study area included a transect of 500 long m x 20 wide m (1ha). Biweekly visits was made during 19 months, material in reproductive state was collected. As result 13 species of 10 genera (Acacia Mill., Bauhinia L., Brownea Jacq. Dalbergia L.f., Inga Mill., Machaerium Pers., Pseudopiptadenia Rauschert, Senna Mill., Swartzia Schreb. y Zygia P. Browne) corresponding to the three subfamilies were registered: Mimosoideae (four genera and four species); Caesalpinioideae (four genera and six species); and Papilionoideae (two genera and three species). Of the total of registered species, 61,5% was trees, 23,1 % vines and 15,4 % shrubs.Identification keys and brief descriptions for all the were included.
