Abstract

NOZAWA, Shingo  and  GRANDE, José R. First Report of eragrostis paniciformis (A. Braun) Steud. (Poaceae: chloridoideae) in Venezuela. Ernstia [online]. 2010, vol.20, n.1, pp.81-88. ISSN 0252-8274.

The species shows weedy behavior, growing in perturbed, sun exposed areas. The taxon presents resembles with E. mokensis and E. unioloides, and could be confused with Briza minor, Uniola and Poa, but can be differentiated from the both Eragrostis by its winged palea with a pair of acute projections, and from the latter three by its trinervate lemmas.
