Resumen

BARBA ORTEGA, José José; BECERRA BECERRA  y  HERRERA CARRILLO, Álvaro. Superconductor state in a long wire: unidimensional Ginzburg-Landau model. Rev. Téc. Ing. Univ. Zulia [online]. 2011, vol.34, n.2, pp.114-118. ISSN 0254-0770.

The nonlinear one-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau equations (1GLE) are used to study the properties of a long mesoscopic superconducting wire surrounded by an axial external magnetic field. In the framework of the Ginzburg-Landau model, it is possible to solve the 1GLE for the states with axially symmetric distributions of the order parameter. The order parameter and magnetization curves are obtained by a simple variational model and an exact numerical method. We show that, depending on the value of the applied field and the size of cylinder radii, the magnetization curves can have diamagnetic behavior such a way (M<0) as Paramagnetic (M>0). Also it is noted that the value of the order parameter in the boundary diminishes when the Ginzburg-Landau parameter is increased. We obtain a good agreement between the results based on self-consistent solution of 1GLE with those obtained by variational method.
