V2O5 thin films were deposited on glassy carbon, by VO+2 ions reduction in acid media. Deposited thin films, were characterized by voltammetry, scanning electronic microscopy, energy dispersive x-ray spectrometry (EDAX) and Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy. The stability and capacity of the film was evaluated for the lithium ion intercalation in propylene carbonate solvent employing LiClO4 as supporting electrolyte.
