The effect of the attenuation caused by obstacles such as knife edge is a major communication problem for fixed receivers and / or mobile. In this paper the propagation mechanism, by different paths, is studied when radio waves interact with metal objects and / or dielectric. The mechanisms governing the radio propagation are complex and diverse. Generally, the losses are attributed to the phenomenon of diffraction, reflection, refraction and dispersion or combinations thereof, all this according to the frequency band used and the atmospheric environment in which electromagnetic waves propagate. This paper presents an explicit development of the double integral Fresnel Xiongwen raised by Zhao, whose resolution is obtained by means of mathematical analysis techniques, after already raised the integral approach which is reached from theoretical developments in physical - mathematical, using the Fresnel-Kirchhoff theory to predict the electromagnetic attenuation in the case of one and multiple knife edges. This paper considers only the phenomena of diffraction and reflection, for one and double knife edges.
