Resumen
GONZALEZ, L.G; FIGUERES, E; GARCERA, G y CARRANZA, O. Design of a wind energy conversion emulator system. Rev. Téc. Ing. Univ. Zulia [online]. 2015, vol.38, n.2, pp.159-168. ISSN 0254-0770.
The aim of this paper is designing a system emulator for eolic energy conversion with variable speed and nominal power of 2kW. The emulator defines wind profiles for evaluating control techniques regarding power converters and maximum power point tracking algorithms covering a wide range of operating speeds. This system consists of a commercial frequency inverter and an induction motor coupled to a permanent magnet synchronous generator without a gear box. The energy generated is processed and delivered to the grid through a back-to-back power converter using sensorless control and vector control techniques. Additionally, all control algorithms were implemented using the TMS320F2812 DSP from Texas Instruments.
Palabras clave : wind power emulator; permanent magnet synchronous generator; vector control; maximum power point tracking.
