The purpose of this work is double. On the one hand, the author aims at presenting a conceptual map of Dennett’s evolutionist theory of derived intentionality that he has defended for several decades and that he magnificently defines in his last publications. On the other hand, the article tries to show that Dennettian theses are coherent within his system of philosophy’s naturalization.
