this paper is intended to clarify three fundamental ques-tions: the daily life, the relationship between that concept and the human existence, and how to grasp it methodically. In order to catch this issue in its whole radicalism we start from the theoretic-methodical bases proposed by Martin Heidegger under the premise that only an ontological analysis of the existence can offer complete answer to the problem. In contributing to clarify an existential category in human life as is the everyday life (Alltäglichkeit), it is possible at the same time to approach the social sciences in a rigor-ously founded way, through a full linking with philosophy.
