ESPINOSA, Luciano. Towards an Eco-Anthropology of the Common. Some Connections between Biology, Society, Ecology and HistoryVers une éco-anthropologie du commun. Quelques rapports entre biologie, société, écologie et histoire. Argos [online]. 2013, vol.30, n.58, pp.107-144. ISSN 0254-1637.

“United we stand”, that is true, but it is necessary, previously, to rescue the idea of the common in the anthropological and ecological senses, just as ancient greek philosophy did. There are important relations and meanings -usually neglected- in the fact that we all are humans and inhabitants of this planet at the same time, in the age of globalization and climate change. But the crisis of civilization we are facing is destroying those common conditions of human beings in politics, economy and global relationships. Thus, it is urgent to create an alternative way of organization for living together and the first step is to remember it.

Palavras-chave : Common conditions; Anthropology; Ecology; Politics; Economy; Globalization.
