The city, understood as a place to live, hosts a number of archi­tectures entering deterioration over time. Studied from different points of view, they are objects of knowledge for archeology, sociology and philoso­phy, and also a source of inspiration for contemporary artists. The aim of this paper is to analyze works that make use of the architectural ruins of urban space to express aspects of society in different forms.
