Abstract
BEJAR, L and HERNANDEZ, C. A. CÁLCULO DE LA TENSIÓN DE FLUENCIA EN ACEROS DEFORMADOS EN CALIENTE . Rev. LatinAm. Met. Mat. [online]. 2001, vol.21, n.2, pp.51-58. ISSN 0255-6952.
A mathematical model for the prediction of the flow curve of the hot deformed austenite in low alloy steels has been developed. The constitutive equations take into account the governing mechanisms during the plastic deformation -respon-sible of the form of the curve- and it uses the process variables and the chemical composition of the steel. For a demonstration of its precision, the proposed model has been applied to the classical flow curves of Cook in conditions up to two orders of magnitude with respect to those used for its development, being satisfactory.
