Abstract

RUIZ, J. A  and  SIMEON, R. E. APLICACIÓN DE LOS ALGORITMOS GENÉTICOS AL DISEÑO ÓPTIMO MULTIOBJETIVO DE TROQUELES DE CORTE Y PUNZONADO SIMPLES Y PROGRESIVOS. Rev. LatinAm. Met. Mat. [online]. 2002, vol.22, n.2, pp.11-17. ISSN 0255-6952.

The traditional CAD systems constitutes tools for aid in the preparation of design’s decisions with more quality and in lesser time that with the manual not automated design. However, without the application of decisions making tools these systems are not prepared, conceptually, for carrying out designs that approximate to the best possible commitment among the designer’s indicators of efficiency. This work presents the results of the application of Genetic Algorithm Method to the optimal multi-objective design simple and progressive cutting dies. The system pursues the objective of generating design options of dies near to the global optimum of an utility function.
