Abstract
SERRANO-LOPEZ, Sixto S.; PRIETO-GARCIA, Francisco and GORDILLO-MARTINEZ, Alberto J.. Síntesis y caracterización de Sílice dopada con óxidos de hierro por la vía Sol-GelSíntesis. Rev. LatinAm. Met. Mat. [online]. 2005, vol.25, n.1-2, pp.3-14. ISSN 0255-6952.
The silica obtaining drugged with iron oxides by the route sun-gel, in optimized conditions of their variables and the characterization of obtained solids, has been made in this work. The precursors of the synthesis, thetraethil orthosilane and iron (II) were taken like control factors to optimize the conditions of relations in molars concentrations, [TEOS]/[Fe2+], of pH of means, temperature and time of reaction; three levels of speed of agitation of the system were proven additionally. One looked for to optimize answers of greater yields or efficiency, greater cristalinity of solids and greater percentage of drugged iron. One obtained that the best results were in conditions of relation of concentrations [TEOS]/[Fe2+] of 5, pH of 10, temperature of 25ºC and time of reaction of 2,5 hours. By their magnetic and adsorbent properties, these solids could be evaluated in future works, for possible uses like materials in evaluations and determinations of ions watery means arsenates.
