In this work the rate of specific mortality of Parkinson´s disease was determinated according to gender and age, from 1988 to 1998. Source of the information was the Epidemiological Annals of the Ministry of Health and Development. During this period it was observed a tendency to the increase of the rate of mortality of Parkinson´s disease. Also it increases exponentially with age and it was higher in males.
