Summary Our concern arises from the progressive deterioration of the relation ship between the treatment and the morbidity- mortality produced by lung cancer. The research aims to generate effective strategies to contribute to a better prevention of cigarette smoke-produced lung cancer. It’s justified because the research study provides theoretical and referential elements in order to reduce the critical situation in the way medical care is carried out, especially in the prevention treatment. A revision of this phenomenon is made, including field work, emphasizing on the traditional epistemic approach, which reconstructs the base of the link between phenotype and genotype, of an interdisciplinary approach with the idea of presenting prevention strategies guided by the bio-social-reflexive model to the scientific communitie, as it is the case of transformational learning. The methodology used in the investigation was oriented by the complexity paradigm; quantitative moments (deductive), qualitative (inductive) and dialectic (critical theory), emerging the strategy as a method during the experience
