Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer related mortally in the world in both genders. The epidemic is devastating and there is not much hope to reach a solution because of the progressive increment in the tobacco smoking habit. Our duty is to contribute to alleviate the present reality by having a more appropriate interpretation of the phenotypic-genotypic relationship to reconstruct the episteme that serves as the basis of the biomedical model, which dictates the procedures of medical attentions related to the tobacco induced lung cancer. The methodology employed is guide by the complexity paradigm: quantitative, qualitative, and dialectics moments, which in this specific case complement each other, the strategy emerging as the method during the experience. The results obtained in this investigation lead to preliminary considerations that serve as model for new and better realizations.
