Abstract

GARCIA, Pedro; GENATIOS, Carlos; GARCES, Francisco  and  LAFUENTE, Marianela. Sadex: computational system for the simulation and experimental identification of structures. IMME [online]. 2006, vol.44, n.2, pp.21-32. ISSN 0376-723X.

This article presents a computational system that performs the simulation and analysis of experimental essays of buildings. It also performs the identification of dynamic experimental properties and the correction of the numerical models by inverse problem procedures. In order to validate the analysis procedures, results are compared with those obtained from SAP2000 simulations. Applicability for dynamic experimental essays is assessed by the evaluation of four R/C framed building models. The dynamic properties were evaluated and inverse problem techniques were applied in order to correct numerical models from the experimental results.
