Generally scrubby ecosystems of the world offer many resources to exploit. The forage biomass is the most important for animal production. In this study with dimensional analysis were evaluated eight most browsed shrubs. Eight species of cattle consumed shrubs were evaluated by dimensional analysis. Height, maximum and minimum diameters, crown area and volume were measured in the field and correlated with dry weight. Regression coefficient values ranged from 59 to 86%. The most reliable variables were minimum diameter and crown area, and the best fitting equations were simple lineal regressions. The validations include cross-validation of new data, where estimate error is 5g in 4 of 16 equations. The equations support 70% of estimate certainty.
