In order to quantify the effect of micronutrient foliar sprays upon foliar concentration and seasonal behaviour in guava leaves as well as on flower and fruit production, five treatments were tested under greenhouse conditions: T1)NH4NO3 (10g·l-1); 2) micronutrients; 3) T1 + T2; 4) water stress; 5) Ethrel® (10g·l-1); plus the Control (T). Results showed that foliar concentration of free aminoacids increased previous to flowering with all the treatments, which explains the higher budding and number of flowers, particularly in those treatments withNH4NO3 and micronutrients, where, although the fruitset is lower, there is a longer anthesis period, which means a longer harvest period that could be considered as an advantage in commercialization. Micronutrient foliar sprays, alone or combined with NH4NO3, showed effects upon the foliar concentration of Cu and Mn, but not upon Fe and Zn. There was no specific nutrient behaviour through the period of study.
