Susceptibility to acetamiprid, cypermethrin, imidacloprid, pymetrozine and thiamethoxam was determined in two populations of sweet potato whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius), Biotype B, collected in the states of Baja California and Sinaloa, Mexico. In comparison to a susceptible population, at 50% mortality, the highest resistance ratios (RR50) were observed in the Sinaloa population to cypermethrin (17.2×), pymetrozine (26.9×) and imidacloprid (42.8×). However, at 95% mortality, both populations were susceptible to the evaluated insecticides.
