This study was conducted to evaluate the adaptability procesing as frozen whole kernels of three sweet corn hybrids (su) named: 2038, 2010 and 2004, cultivated in Venezuela. Bonanza hybrid was used as a commercial standard. Samples were husked, cut and frozen at to -95°C for 7 minutes and storage to -18°C. The freezing process was evaluated in terms of commercial yield, chemical, microbiological and sensorial characteristics after 45 and 90 days of storage. The results showed an average yield of 33.19%, which is higher than that of the Bonanza hybrid (26-30%). All hybrids tested showed acceptability and good storage stability chemical, microbiological and sensorial characteristics that indicated being hybrid 2038 the most outstanding.
