Resumo

DELGADO A, A. E.  e  URDANETA G, L. M.. Basidiomycota fungi of the Agaricales order, in five muicipalities in Zulia State, Venezuela. Rev. Fac. Agron. [online]. 2002, vol.19, n.1, pp.56-70. ISSN 0378-7818.

During a study carried out in the period from 1999 to 2000 in five counties of Zulia state, Venezuela, were collected 178 samples of fungi collected. For each fungus collected the following characteristics based on microscopic and macroscopic analysis were determined: pileus, gill, stipe, cystidia, spore deposit, form and spore size, and habitat type. All together 10 families, 21 genera and 39 species of the Agaricales order, division Basidiomycota were identified. The families were: Lepiotaceae, Tricholomataceae, Amanitaceae, Agaricaceae, Plutaceae, Coprinaceae, Bolbitiaceae, Strophariaceae, Crepidotaceae and Hygrophoraceae; the most common genera were: Chlorophylum, Lepiota, Collybia, Gerronema, Marasmius, Pleurotus, Amanita, Agaricus, Coprinus and Pluteus. The species: Collybia lacunosa, Gerronema ericetarum Marasmius citricolor, Tricholoma saponaceum, Amanita farinosa, Agaricus brunnescens, Naematoloma ericaeum, Crepidotus applanatum and Hygrocybe colemanniana, were considered new species records for Zulia and Venezuela.
