This work proposes the reading of Cuadernos de Infancia (1932), of the Argentinean writer Norah Lange. The study is proposed from two fundamental perspectives. One of them refers to gender discourse, obviously feminine. The other view is related to the autobiography as a literay genre with particular characteristics and is submitted to the specific features of autobiography written by women. Regarding the latter, it is interesting to mention that Cuadernos de infancia is an avant-garde text with regards to the historical period when it was developed, since it corresponds to a little encouraged genre at that moment in Latin-America.
