This research work is focused on the analysis of the work of Venezuelan writer Ana Teresa Torres, specifically the novels Doña Inés contra el olvido, 1992 and Malena de cinco mundos, 2000. It is approached from a semantic perspective that intends to explain the presence of the feminine voice as a testimony which reconstructs the memory of its space and of its time. Torres’s novels are a space for women to feel free to act, to think, to do and to say, of course, from feminine subjectivity.
