SARABIA, M; LEON, S y GONZALEZ Y, M. Estudio Clínico Controlado Doble Ciego, Dobesilato de Calcio (Doxium®) Vs. Fracción Flavonoide Purificada y Micronizada de Diosmina (Daflón®) en el Tratamiento de las Crisis Hemorroidales. AVFT [online]. 2000, vol.19, n.2, pp.132-136. ISSN 0798-0264.
Twenty-eight patients with acute hemorrhoidal crises. Were randomized in two parallel groups and treated with calcium dobesilate (Doxium®) or purified micronized, flavonoid fraction (Daflón®) under double blind fashion during the first 10 days, and in open condition for 4 weeks or more. Overall improvement of asymptoms was similar in both groups and it was significative from the 8th day of treatment against baseline. At the end of the trial all patients were asyntomatic, without any significative statistical difference between the groups. No patient experienced major side effects.
