The low back pain is a frequent condition which the principal treatment is are the NAIDs. In this study were evaluated 90 patients with diagnosis of low back pain, they received Nimesulide Betadex doses of 100 mg two time for day, for 10 or 15 days. These patients were evaluated throughout EVA (0-10 cm) and functional scale. The treatment produced a significant decrease in VAS scale after 48 hour from 7.42 to 5.15 (p<0.000) with similar changes between 48 hour and 5th and 10th days. Similar evolution showed the functional capacity scale. The adverse effects happened in 6.6% of patients and their were epigastragia (2), dyspepsia (1), heartburn (2), allergic reaction (1), in this last patients were necessary stop the treatment. Nimesulide betadex is a effective, quick and with good tolerance in the treatment of patient with low back pan.
