Resumen
CONTRERAS, F et al. Dopamina : ¿Modulador de la respuesta cardiovascular en sujetos hipertensos?. AVFT [online]. 2005, vol.24, n.1, pp.50-60. ISSN 0798-0264.
In the present paper we studied 30 subjects divided in three groups: 10 healthy subjects, 10 hypertensive subjects and 10 diabetic subjects. The results reveal that methoclopramide, a DA2 dopaminergic blocker, reduced systolic blood pressure without altering heart rate; however, when dopamine (1 mcg/kg/min) was added, systolic blood pressure was not modified but heart rate increased significantly although in a less degree when compared with that of healthy and hypertensive subjects. We presume that this diminished response in diabetic subjects could be due to a presence of dysautonomia in these patients.
