Parvovirus B19 (PB19) is a virus belonging to the family Parvoviridae as pathogen is causing erythema infectious or fifth disease, as well as other rheumatic and hematologic diseases. Although Parvovirus B19 (PB19) was essentially as described pathogen causing rash illness in infants, preschool and school, must not ignore its role as an inducer of hematologic disease and acute and chronic adult rheumatology. In the case of Venezuela, research conducted between 2006 and 2012 reveal a significant annual and continuous movement of the infant population PB19, preschool, school, teen and adult Zulia state, which elapses unnoticed in our approach to almost unique in the diagnosis of other viral diseases prevalent in our environment, thus signifying the presence of a public health problem. Therefore, it is ostensible continuously monitor this situation and a deeper knowledge of the different clinical forms of infection PB19, because they may also affect the aforementioned population. All this for the sake of its proper initial detection and effective prevention, avoiding notable clinical consequences that may entail the susceptible population.
