This paper discusses the effect of the physical environment on the healing of the users in a health facility, also the environment perception and its therapeutic effects on patients, as well. lt is also appointed design recommendations that enhance the humanization of the physical environment that ensure the person’s dignity as user of a health service. The space quality is presented as a functional response to user requirements, since it represents a social utility.
