NAVARRETE, SA et al. Colangiografía Intraoperatoria por Laparascópia con Cateter de Cholangiocath y de Teflón. RFM [online]. 2000, vol.23, n.2, pp.122-125. ISSN 0798-0469.
The following article describes a technique performed by the same surgeon in 20 patients, for intraoperative cholangiography during the course of a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. In the era of laparoscopic cholecystectomy, the intraoperative cholangiography is an effective method to diagnose lithiasis of the common bile duct as well as to explain any anatomic doubts. This enables us to treat the patient with only one procedure by means of the laparoscopic techniques of exploration of the extrahepatic bile duct tract and take the necessary caution to avoid any possible iatrogenic injury that may be caused. The technique described here, resulted in 100% of complete cholangiographies and represents a simple method that not only allows the diagnosis of the bile duct pathology, but also helps the surgeon who is training in laparoscopic techniques, acquire the necessary abilities.
