The Faculty of Medicine of the Central University of Venezuela has a main mission with the country as it is the formation of the human resources to attend health in the sense of wide and integral concept. Pre and postgraduate teaching activities, extension and research are present in almost all of the national territory. This responsibility lies on the teacher-student binomial with the administrative employees help. In the current work the teacher distribution according their level in the staff and dedication time, dynamic of pensions off in last five years and their expectations in the next five years, are analyzed. Some short or long time proposals are based on the law application, the horizontal and vertical integration, the human and material resources optimization and our conviction that the way of improving the teaching-learning process is the way to transform the University increasing then the academic level.
