Clear cell carcinoma of the thyroid gland is an unusual neoplasm. Two cases of clear cell carcinoma of the thyroid in two 21 and 67 years old women are described. The tumors were nodular in appearence and one of them was large and firm with fibrous adhesions. Histologic and immunohistochemical studies after surgery were performed. A review of the literature on clear cell carcinomas of the thyroid was discussed.
