ABSTRACT The esophagogastric resection is a major chirurgical challenge. The aim of this study is to present a substantial modification of the anastomosis that evades a new line of suture in the yeyunal loop. Between 1991 and 2001 nine patients were opered. 6 men and 3 women. The median age was 67,88 years. Seven patients (77,77%) had adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction, one patient with gastric lynphoma (11,11%), and one patient with Barrett´s esophagus(11,11%) The 30 days mortality was 11, 11%. After a follow-up of 10 years, the range of survival was 1 month-10 years, the mean was 24, 57 months. The two years survival was 44, 44% and five years 11,11%.
