ABSTRACT: In the treatment of the fractures diafisarias numerous techniques have been used from the orthopedic treatment going by the osteosíntesis with badges and nails endomedulares. The objective of the treatment is to promote the consolidation, precocious mobilization and to restore the function, conserving the longitude, rotation, and the mechanical axes of the extremity. To choose the one implants it depends on the personality of the fracture, the nails with fasteners of blockade proximal and distal allow to control the axial uncertainties or rotacionales. You identificaron 132 clinical histories, the information is tabulated by means of format of gathering of data, the results were analyzed and they reported in charts and graphics. This revision puts in evidence that these fractures frequently affect the population adult young 68.1%, with prevalence of the sex masculine 86% who you/they are exposed mainly to violent facts, in 50.7% of the cases it was committed the femur, 68.9% needed surgical treatment to open sky and the 53.7% more than two hours of surgery, 75.7% required up to thirty days of hospitalization.
