The Tropical Medicine class, has been since 1997 evaluating the way of teaching and this study is done with purpose of concluding a series of five articles design to meet this end.     Here we present the opinion of 115 students, of the Tropical Medicine regular curse of in the academic year 2002-2003 about teaching’s perception. The 94% pronounce for the remain of the assignment in the career pensum, 89% define the academic significance of "Tropical Medicine" and 77% said that the teaching method has to maintain its center in the student/patient/teacher interaction so as the 77% indicate that it perceives the modifications that are taking place in the teaching method of the chair. We analyze the information obtained and evaluate the student perception over the actualization of the teaching’s method at the chair, that is near to be 80 years old, and kept alive for its adaptation capacity and needs of the teaching’s evolution.
