Paraganglioma is a rare tumor of the paraganglioma system arising from undifferentiated cells of the neural crest. They cause secondary arterial hypertension. The Zuckerkandl’s organ is a paraganglion group localized in inferior paraaortic infradiaphragmatic region. Extra-adrenal pheocromocytome are usually located in this region. In this paper we present a fourteen years-old patient who had a paraganglioma of the Zuckerkandl’s organ. We review the literature.
