The biliar-pancreatic area is a very important chirurgic task, and its arterial distribution has so many different variances, that it is very difficult to describe a single arterial approach to this territory. In the aim to study this important area, and the cystic artery, 82 human fetuses, male and female, ranging from 18 to 40 gestational weeks, were employed. They were red vinyl perfused, and formaldehyde fixed. Afterwards they were carefully dissected. In the observed sample we could see: 1) In 58,54 % the cystic artery arises from right hepatic artery. 2) In 9,75 % takes origin in the aberrants right hepatic arteries. 3) In several other arteries including double cystic arteries in 31,71 %; while its branching were mainly directed towards the inferior and superior wall of the gallbladder in 98,78 % of the sample. In 48,78 % they go to the gallbladder sulcus.
