Abstract
CARRERA, ZULEIMA et al. Schawannoma benigno de la mama masculina: Reporte de un caso. Rev. venez. oncol. [online]. 2005, vol.17, n.4, pp.226-228. ISSN 0798-0582.
Schwannoma (neurilemoma), is a neoplasm of Schwann cell origin. Its most common locations are the flexor surfaces of the extremities, neck, mediastinum and retroperitoneum. The breast is a very unusual site for this tumor. We report a case of breast schwannoma in a 49-year-old man. The palpable mass was localized in the upper quadrants of the right breast. Very scanty literature is available on this rare tumor of male breast.
