Resumo

OBJECTIVES: The purposed of these works is to describe the case of a patient with a liposarcoma primary of breast doing emphasis in the clinical, pathological and the immunohistochemical findings. METHODS: We presented and displayed a case of feminine patient of 57 years old, that consults to present a display movable tumefaction, non painful, without any inflammatory signs, nor secretion in the left breast. The mammography describes a nodule in left external superior quadrant with characteristics of benign injury. The mammary ultrasound reports radial solid nodule in 3, of mixed aspect, with lateral shades and later reinforcing of 30 x 27 mm of diameter with suspicious characteristics of malignity. The guided ultrasound biopsy reported a malignant mesenchymal tumour: Mixoid liposarcoma. The extension studies are asked for: gamma bony scan, abdominal liver profile, ecosonogram, Rays X of thorax. RESULTS: Oncology partial mastectomy is been made, with untimely biopsy that reported a suitable margins. Next sentinel ganglion dissection was made sentry and axillaries resection of breast supernumerary ipsilateral. In the histological study, liposarcoma mixoid was observed, with areas of necrosis and haemorrhage; free surgical edges of resection of neoplasic injury; without evidence of metastasis to axillaries lymphatic ganglia. CONCLUSIONS: The liposarcomas primary of breast neoplasia is extremely rare, being considered in less of 1 % of the all mammary tumours. This case constitutes a finding little frequents. The suitable clinical and pathological relation is necessary to reach a final diagnosis.
