Resumen

OBJECTIVE: Endometrial adenocarcinoma represents an important cause of morbidity and mortality, correlation with increase use of estrogen replacement therapy in post-menopausal women. METHODS: Descriptive study of cross section, determined, characteristic epidemiologists associated risk factors in those patients evaluated by the period January of 1992 and December of the 2005. RESULTS: 129 patients evaluated themselves. Majority between 70-80 years old. Menarche before 10 years 5, 10-12 45, 13 -15 48 > 15 7 not known 24. Premenopausal: 18 patients, postmenopausal 90, stranger 21. Undigested 21, from 1 to 5 64, from 6 to 10 20, more than 10 develop 10 not known 14. Hypertension 35, diabetics 10, smoking 18, obesity 5, alcoholic 5, cancer 3, other 8, unknown 21 without antecedents 34. Familiar oncology antecedents: Breast adenocarcinoma 9, endometrial adenocarcinoma 2, others gynecological cancers 10, digestive routes adenocarcinoma 14, others cancerous 12, not known 21 without antecedents 78. Stage: clinical 38, surgical 81 not classified 10. Clinical stage: Ia 2, Ib 5, II 21, III 5 IVA 1 IVb 4 cases. Surgical stage: Ia 10, Ib 28, IC 15, IIa 6, IIb 3, IIIa 8, IIIb 5, IVA 1 and IVb 3. Histological type: Endometrioid 115, papillary serous 7, adenosquamous 2, clear cells 2, small cells 1 Undifferentiated 2 Histological degree: Well differentiated 75, moderately differentiated 40 little differentiated 17. CONCLUSIONS: Realized more studies and compare with other series.
