ROSILLO, Willian V; VIVANCO, Isauro M; VILLAVICENCIO, Blanca X y SISALEMA, Lila A. Factors that operationalize credit financing for microenterprises in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Espacios [online]. 2024, vol.45, n.3, pp.49-63. Epub 09-Oct-2024. ISSN 0798-1015. https://doi.org/10.48082/espacios-a24v45n03p05.
The objective of the present research is to analyze the factors influencing banking financing for microenterprises in Guayaquil. In this way, the aim is to identify the elements that facilitate loans for micro-entrepreneurs. The study employed a deductive method and a mixed approach. It was descriptive in nature, with a population of 135,724 microenterprises observed. The sample size, determined with a 95% confidence level, consisted of 383 microenterprises. The main results revealed that factors operationalizing financing for microenterprises are related to the macroeconomic context and the level of competitiveness in the financial market. However, the financing needs of microenterprises predominantly focus on working capital.
