LOZANO, Levis L.  and  LOPEZ, Ela C.. Technological mediations for teaching and learning English. Espacios [online]. 2024, vol.45, n.5, pp.1-26.  Epub Jan 12, 2025. ISSN 0798-1015.  https://doi.org/10.48082/espacios-a24v45n05p01.

This article responds to a study whose main purpose was to establish the impact of an action plan from technological mediations, given from a teacher's work system that includes web 2.0 educational platforms, called Personal Learning Teaching Management Environment (PLTME) and personal learning environments (PLE) designed by students to improve the results of the test called Prueba Saber 11-Inglés at the Kilómetro 12 Educational Institution, located in the rural area of Montería-Colombia. The research responds to the mixed positivist approach, a multimodal approach, which uses quantitative and qualitative elements. (Hernández et al., 2006). The journey starts with an analysis of the results of the test called Prueba Saber 11-Inglés at the Kilómetro 12 Educational Institution, during the year 2021, from the perceptions of teachers, to understand why the results are low, then the English curriculum is adjusted, the action plan is implemented, and finally, the results of the test called Prueba Saber 11-Inglés for the years 2022- 2023 are analyzed, as well as the students' perceptions of the action plan and its impact on their results.
