Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic had effects on university students that had an impact on their academic, family and personal lives. The study was descriptive, cross-sectional, qualitative through grounded theory through interviews with three focus groups of students at two universities. The results highlight conditions of contagion, changes, difficulties, losses, suffering from anxiety, stress and depression, practices of spirituality and desires for normality. It is concluded that the young people experienced difficulties and disorders that they faced with the practice of spirituality.
