The aim of the study was to identify the meanings that students attributed to the implementation of diversified strategies in an inclusive education course within a special education program. The methodology was qualitative, the data collection technique was focus group, and the analysis technique was open coding. The results show that students identified that the implementation of diversified strategies enabled greater autonomy, created spaces for peer collaboration, and contrasted with previous traditional teaching-learning experiences.
