The objective of this study is to evaluate the interpretation of tasks related to probabilistic thinking of future teachers of Mathematics in Secondary Education. A qualitative and descriptive-level methodology was employed. The sample consisted of 26 future mathematics teachers who responded to a questionnaire composed of questions drawn from previous research. The study reveals an incomplete and inexperienced probabilistic thinking on the part of future Secondary Mathematics teachers, who tend to give greater relevance in their answers to non-probabilistic factors.
Keywords : probabilistic thinking; future teachers; probability; probabilistic interpretation.
