The objective of the study was to evaluate the impact of a program based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to strengthen cognitive development in first-year high school students in Guayaquil. Using a pre-experimental design and a quantitative approach, an effect size of 1,014 and a coefficient of determination R² of 0,761 were obtained. The results highlight the effectiveness of UDL as a pedagogical strategy that influences the strengthening of students' cognitive development.
