The objective of this study was to carry out a territorial analysis of the changes in the socio-ecological food system that has developed in the lower part of the Bacoachi River basin (located northwest of Mexico) and its intervention strategies from an Adaptation perspective based on Ecosystems. The results indicate a process of socio-productive, ecological and conservation transformation of the region that develops its threecentral elements: productive uses, ecological scale and conservation policies.
